Bat and Machete Seized in Downtown Windsor Assault

Victim suffered serious but nonlife threatening injuries

Windsor police have arrested two suspects after a man suffered serious injuries during an assault with weapons.

Police were called Monday at 5:30 a.m. to Glengarry Ave. and Riverside  Dr. East for a trouble unknown.

They found a man suffering from serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Officers learned the victim had been assaulted by multiple suspects inside a home on the Glengarry Ave.

Two suspects were located and arrested.  

Several items were seized including a bat, a machete, a sledge hammer and two pipes.

Two men, ages 23 and 29,  are charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon
