Windsor police are looking a pair of barefoot suspects after a convenience store was robbed by a group with hammers and axes.
Police report on Monday at 4:30am, officers responded to the store in the 900-block of University Ave. W.
Police say two men entered the store with their faces covered and approached two of the employees with one of the suspects waving his weapon and demanding cash.
Both suspects took off with some money and cigarettes.
The pair were last seen running south on Oak St. towards Wyandotte St. W. and police say both were barefoot.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The first suspect is described as male, white, approximately 6'0", wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a green symbol in the front, black shorts, black touque, sunglasses and a black backpack.
The second suspect is described as male, white, approximately 6'0", wearing a black sweatshirt with blue "Adidas" t-shirt, baseball hat, with red bandana covering face, sunglasses and a red backpack.
