he next chair of the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board is the previous chair of the board.
Barb Holland has been returned to the post she's held since 2012.
She says it's going to be an exciting year with new schools in the works. "It's taken such a long time to get St. Bernard off the ground and now here we are. This year we get to look forward to bringing three distinct communities together under one roof. Now that's at the elementary level, when you look at the secondary level, we get to envision a new Catholic Central High School. Something we've been imagining and wanting for years."
The province has confirmed $26-million in funding for the school to be built on the site of the old Windsor Arena downtown.
Mary DiMenna has been re-elected as the board's vice chair.
