A Windsor rock band is scoring with the Detroit Red Wings.
The song 'Devil in Disguise' by the Autumn Kings is being considered as one of the team's 'goal songs'.
Whenever the Wings score, the song would play to pump up the crowd.
Band vocalist Jake Diab told AM800's the Morning Drive, he sent a cold email to someone at the Red Wings who loved the song.
The song was played a few times during games last season and the feedback was great.
Diab expects the song will be played in some sort of capacity during games this season saying it would be a great chance to promote the band.
"I looked it up the other night, 19,515 people are going to be hearing this song Devil in Disguise at every single Red Wings game, I couldn't even imagine what the opportunities are that are going to arise from this," he says.
Diab expects to hear something from the Red Wings in the next couple of weeks.
