The mayor in Kingsville is voicing concerns after a dangerous and disturbing incident of mischief at a town park.
On Tuesday, a family at Applewood Park noticed glass plates buried underneath the pea stone at the foot of a playground slide.
Mayor Nelson Santos questions who would put such effort into mischief that would potentially injure a child.
"It really raises some concerns certainly for the family and neighbourhood to try and understand who would do that type of mischief that could cause harm to other people," he says.
"Apparently they took the time and effort to bring over glass plates to put it at the foot of the slide."
Santos says within minutes of getting the call, the town's arena staff went to the park to dealt with it and make sure the playground is safe.
