Attempted Murder Charge Laid in Windsor Stabbing

Police allege bear spray was also used in the violent attack on Josephine Ave

A charge of attempted murder has now been laid following a stabbing in Windsor where a man was left with life-threatening injuries. 

Police were called to the 300-block of Josephine Ave. just before 8 a.m. Monday.

Investigators say the victim and suspect are known to each other and during a violent interaction, bear spray was used impacting the victim and a second person who was at the scene. 

Officers arrived and found the victim suffering from stab wounds. 

The suspect was identified and arrested just 30-minutes later on Woodlawn Ave. 

Christopher Larkin, 35, of Windsor is charged with attempted murder, administering bear spray with intent to endanger life or cause bodily harm, entering a dwelling-house with intent to commit an offence, and breach of probation.
