The Windsor-Essex Community Foundation is looking to support local charities.
Executive Director Lisa Kolody says the foundation has opened its application period for its annual Community Impact Grants Program.
She says charities must register online to have a chance for grants up to $15,000 for their local projects or programs.
Kolody says the projects or programs must have a lasting impact on Windsor-Essex.
"We're not able to offer operating grants but we're looking at project based so depending on the scope of the projects, we're able to fund up to $15,000 for each project," says Kolody.
Since 1983, the foundation has committed $6.6 million to local charities for their projects and programs.
The application period closes on September 15th.
