An anti-bullying campaign is coming before Essex Town Council for final approval Monday night.
Deputy Mayor Richard Meloche came to council for help in early June after he received a number of complaints from residents about bullying and foul language in area parks.
Council unanimously agreed that a campaign exercising zero tolerance is in order.
A report is returning to council outlining a social media, enhanced staff training, and consistent facility signage promoting Bully Free Zones, which would include contact information for the OPP.
Council meets at the Essex County Civic Centre Tuesday at 6 p.m.
