Two final farewells from outgoing members of LaSalle town council.
Mayor Ken Antaya and councillor Terry Burns took part in their final meeting on Tuesday.
Both thanked the community along with their council colleagues and town staff.
Antaya has been mayor two terms but was also the town's CAO prior to joining municipal politics.
Burns on the other hand, has been a councillor for seven terms and worked with Antaya while he was CAO.
The 72-year-old got choked up during his thank-you's.
"You may not know it but you have changed my way of dealing with people," says Burns. "Thanks for the memories, thanks to LA, my family."

Antaya says being mayor was a thrill and it caps off his career.
"I've enjoyed serving my community, it's been an honour," says Antaya. "It's been an honour serving my community and one I'll never forget."
Antaya did not seek re-election while Burns was defeated in last month's municipal election.
The new council will be sworn in on Monday.
