Windsor police are updating a case from mid-April where a handgun and drugs were seized.
Officers had been called to a motel on Howard Ave. near the E.C. Row Expressway when an employee found a handgun.
Police investigated and also found a large quantity of the drug dubbed "purple heroin."
One suspect was arrested and warrants were issued for two other suspects.
On May 9, police learned one of the suspects had been arrested by Waterloo police.
A 23-year-old male from Kitchener has been transported to Windsor and is charged with numerous firearm and drug trafficking related offences.
A 25-year-old Toronto man and a 25-year-old Windsor man were previously charged at the time of the initial investigation.
