Another small storm is heading our way.
Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement about some light snow followed by freezing rain on Wednesday.
Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Marie-Eve Giguere says there will be some flakes in the morning and then as the temperatures rise, it will turn into freezing rain.
"It will be brief and it will be in mid-day so that's all good news because it is not during rush hour or anything," she says.
Giguere says this "battlefield" between warm and cold temperatures are causing more episodes of freezing rain this winter.
She emphasizes for now, the storm on Wednesday is not a major storm, but it could make for some slippery road conditions around lunch time and it will then switch over to rain in the afternoon.
