The Essex Region Conservation Authority has issued a 'Flood Outlook'
Because of high winds in the forecast over the next couple of days, the areas that could be impacted include the Lake Erie shoreline in the Municipality of Leamington between Wheatley Harbour and the tip of Point Pelee.
This entire shoreline was significantly impacted by waves during the wind storm event that occurred on April 14-15, 2018.
Many of the shore protection structures and properties were severely damaged and are vulnerable to further damage from additional easterly wind events.
