Grabbing a burger at a local A&W Thursday can help Canadians living with Multiple Sclerosis.
The MS Society of Canada is teaming up with the iconic fast food chain for the 12th annual Burgers to Beat MS campaign. From open to close Thursday $2 from every Teen Burger sold will go towards MS research and services.
"For everything from information and support to our equipment programs, peer support programs and all kinds of things that really help people with MS live better lives," says the society's Tania Vrionis.
She says you can go to a location or just order in.
"Through take out, drive-thru, through any of the delivery apps; any way you have a teen burger today whether you have it wrapped in lettuce or without a patty, you have all kinds of different options so please visit an A&W today and support Canadians living with MS," she added.
Vrionis tells AM800 News A&W goes above and beyond to raise as much as they can every year.
"The franchisees and employees come together in such an incredible way to support Canadians living with MS," says Vrionis
The event has raised more than $15-million for the charity to date and will run until the end of the day Thursday.
