Former Tiger Ian Kinsler put one into the seats at Comerica Park

Ian Kinsler connected for a three-run homer against his former team as the Angels powered past the Tigers 9-2 at Comerica Park.

Luis Valbuena homered twice and Martin Maldonado also reached the seats for Los Angeles.

Nick Tropeano pitched five-and-a-third innings of two-run ball to even his record at 3-and-3.

The Tigers Michael Fulmer was tagged for five runs in three-and-a-third frames to fall to 2-and-4.

JaCoby Jones and Jeimer Candelario hit solo homers for Detroit, which had won four of its previous five games.
