An Amherstburg woman whose Facebook posting on the high cost of electricity went viral is taking a wait-and-see approach after a face to face meeting with the Premier.
Libby Keenan says she and Kathleen Wynne talked for about two hours Wednesday, mostly about the struggles many are having to make ends meet.
Keenan says the Premier promised no one would have their hydro cut off between the first of November and the end of March.
Keenan says she also promised to have a solution to the high cost of energy in time for the spring budget. "I would not say hang on, I would say that we need to keep her hand to the fire so that the things that she agreed to and the timeline that she agreed to to me actually happens."
Keenan says "taking responsibility for a problem and doing something about it are two different things." She plans to continue to stay in touch with the Premier throughout the year.
