Amherstburg Police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying a suspect.
Amherstburg Police were dispatched to Dylan’s Mart located at 274 Simcoe Street in Amherstburg for an Alarm at around 3:19 this morning.
Upon arrival officers found that the front door glass had been smashed out.
Officers found the cash register broken into with a large sum of cash missing along with a tray of lottery tickets.
Police describe the suspect as a Male wearing a light coloured hoodie, dark shoes and a light coloured canvass backpack with three dark coloured stripes.
