Remember that story last summer about the woman crawling out of the ditch in Amherstburg.
Back in August, Judy Dyck was driving down Concession 4 near Alma around 5:45 am when she spotted something crawling out of the ditch and approach her car, she realized it was a woman.
AM800 News received an email from someone Wednesday night claiming to be the woman crawling out of the ditch.
She indicated 'she couldn't see, she couldn't hear and that's why she was on her hands and knees. She doesn't know how she got there.'
Amherstburg police have concluded it was a mental health issue and have nothing more to say about it.
At the time, Dyck says something caught her attention as she was driving.
"I noticed that there was something crawling and approaching my car on the side of the road and as I got closer I started to, at first I thought it was an animal, wasn't too sure but when I got close enough and then I realized that it was indeed a woman."
Dyck says she freaked out, sped up and called police.
She says the woman was like a scene out of a horror movie.
"She had looked distraught, she had a hand on the side of her hip, she had one in the air to catch my attention and her hair was completely covering her face, she was a mess but there was no blood anywhere however."
At the time, Dyck took to Facebook and more than 20 people told her, they have seen the woman as well.
