Round two of budget talks are scheduled for tonight in Amherstburg.
The budgets for six municipal departments have been finalized so far with very little change from administration's recommendations.
Residents are looking at a proposed tax increase of just under 2-percent and Mayor Aldo DiCarlo says feedback has been positive. "I've talked to a lot of residents and, honestly, almost all of them have given me the same feedback which is, you know, we're on track to some positive change and we're digging ourselves out of the hole we were in and 1.99-percent is actually very reasonable."
Budget talks resume at 5pm at town hall.
