An Amherstburg police officer suffered a number of fractures from a crash involving his cruiser.
Amherstburg police are still investigating the collision that happened last Wednesday morning on County Road 9.
The police cruiser and another vehicle were northbound when the collision happened near South Side Rd.
After the crash, both vehicles veered to the left and stopped near a wooded area.
The officer suffered two fractures in his neck and another in his back.
The officer was treated and released from hospital following the crash.
