An Amherstburg mother will have a sentencing hearing this summer after she pleaded guilty to disposing a newborn's body after delivery.
Samantha Richards, 24, pleaded guilty in Superior Court in London on May 18th.
Richard's lawyer Patricia Brown tells AM800 News, the plea took place following a preliminary hearing earlier this year.
Another charge of 'neglect to obtain assistance during child birth' was withdrawn by the crown back in December 2017.
The baby's body was found in June 2016 in a dumpster in London after police received tips from the public.
The case returns to court July 20th for a sentencing hearing.
