Aldo DiCarlo will be making a second run for mayor in Amherstburg.
He tells AM800 news, he still has some unfinished business to take care of including developing a hotel to help build tourism.
He says one term isn't enough.
"Everything I would have liked to have gotten done just isn't quite there yet," he says.
DiCarlo says the town is moving in a positive direction compared to four years ago.
"Hopefully the residents are happy with where we are today compared to where we were and I would like to see some of the things we have started now be realized."
He believes the town is poised for a much bigger role in the region in the tourism industry which just finished hosting the provincial gymnastics championships.
When he first campaigned four years ago, DiCarlo said residents asked him what he was going to do for them and he replied 'not much' because he needed to get the town's finances in order first.
DiCarlo says he is impressed by how quickly the town has gotten into a much better financial situation.
