The manager of Tourism and Culture for the Town of Amherstburg would like to bring back the "Uncommon Festival" for a second year.
Anne Rota says she'll be providing a report to council tonight outlining how the 2018 festival did.
As heard on AM800 news in August, about 35,000 attended the inaugural festival over the Civic Holiday weekend.
It was billed as a free wizardry, Harry Potter and steampunk festival.

Rota says council will make the final decision.
"We always count on council to decide come budget time but I think the numbers will speak for themselves and when we do special events especially something of that magnitude definitely we want to support it with all of our background," says Rota.
Rota says the public would like to see the event return.
"We had 330 responses on face to face survey, online survey and 98% of the people did want to see it happen again," says Rota. "Also I will speak to the fact that we had 260 volunteers come out."
Rota says she will provide more details on the festival's budget while addressing council.
The festival featured activities such as a 66 ft. maze, escape rooms, wizard ball throw, magicians, teapot racing and a big top ten with entertainment.
The budget for the festival was $60,000 but a provincial grant and sponsors offset the cost.
