Among the shiny new trucks, SUVs and cars, you'll find a display of unique engine technology.
Energy giant Aramco is partnering with Achates Power to develop "opposed piston" engines.
Achates has been working on the idea of applying modern engineering to the engine style that's been around for decades, but unused, while Aramco is supplying know-how and financial resources.
Michael Traber is the Team Leader for the project.
He says the way the engine works can greatly improve fuel mileage while reducing pollution.
"This is an engine that uses pistons that are in an opposed configuration or arrangement," explains Traber. "By doing so you get very good efficiency, thermodynamically it's a very good engine and there's also a high potential for it to reduce criteria pollutant profile."
He says the next step is to find an automaker who wants to try the engine in their vehicles.
"We know that the conversations are happening and where it goes from here, we're obviously optimistic and enthusiastic about the possibilities," says Traber. "So we're hoping we can find a way to get into more applications and production."

He says they've put one of the engines into a pickup truck.
"I think when people come to the booth, they see the engine integrated into an F-150 and this brings them over a mental hurdle," according to Traber. "They can see that it packages into the vehicle, it's entirely possible and now it's about demonstrating"
He says the engine develops about 270 horsepower, similar to a diesel engine of the same size.
