Mother nature helped to get an alleged drunk driver off the street.
The OPP were called on Thursday, February 8 at 9pm after a vehicle left the roadway on Essex County Rd. 2 in Lakeshore.
A passing motorist saw the man stuck in the snow trying to free the vehicle.
Police arrived and noticed the driver showed signs of impairment.
A 67-year-old Tilbury man has been charged with care or control of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and failing or refusing to provide a sample.
