LaSalle police are crediting an alert citizen for reporting a possible impaired driver on Malden Road.
According to police, the vehicle and driver were located at a business on Malden Road.
Police say officers detected signs of impairment after speaking with the driver.
A 48-year-old woman from Amherstburg was arrested and charged with impaired driving.
Her licence has been suspended for 90 days, and her vehicle was impounded.
She was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
