An alert citizen gets the credit for helping the OPP nab an alleged drunk driver.
On February 15th at 2:45am, police responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on County Rd. 42 in Tecumseh.
A motorist contacted police to report the vehicle had left the roadway, narrowly missing a mailbox and guardrail on Manning Rd. near Hwy 401.
Police located the vehicle and the driver showed signs of impairment.
A 23-year-old Windsor man is charged.
His driver's licence has been suspended and vehicle impounded as per the regulations of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
