Amherstburg eliminates Wheatley with a 42 win in game 6
Amherstburg beat the Sharks 4-2 last night in Wheatley to take that opening round series in six games.
It was close, with things tied at one after one period, and two all heading into the third.
Ryan Holzel and Cory Burns scored third period goals to help push the Admirals to the win.
Curtis Prymack and Caleb Paquette added the other goals and Catalin Morin made 28 saves to backstop the Admirals.
Mitchell Prudence and Alixe Saliba had the goals for the Sharks.
Amherstburg, the number three seed advances into the second round along with Lakeshore and Essex.
Blenheim holds a 3-2 series advantage over Dresden in the only series still going.
