The all clear has been given following an investigation that led to a heavy police presence in a near west-side neighbourhood in Windsor.
Police had been looking for a man believed to be armed with a butcher knife on McEwan Avenue near University Avenue West.
The suspect was taken into custody around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
No word on charges.
