The Forest Glade Branch of the Windsor Public Library is in for a technological upgrade.
CUPE Local 82 has donated $6,000 which is being matched by Ward 7 Councillor Irek Kusmierczyk from his ward funds.
The money will be used to buy things like 3-D printers, a virtual reality system, robotics kits and drones.
"The goal is to develop different technology programs for the users," says Kusmierczyk. What's really is exciting here is the opportunity to create programming around this, so to bring elementary schools in the area, in Forest Glade to the library, to bring in students, university and college to the library, to bring in other community organizations."
Kusmierczyk says some of the new items are already at the branch.
The branch is located next to Forest Glade Arena on Forest Glade Dr.
