The W.E. Care for Kids Foundation is thanking the community.
The foundation was able to raise $405,000 during its 2016 fundraising campaign.
Foundation Chair Liz Arkinstall says support for the community is overwhelming.
"We do fundraising events and people host third party events for us year around. We do kick off between April and November but certainly it's a year round campaign," says Arkinstall.
Last year, $443,000 was raised. In 2015, $370,000 was collected.
Since 1997, the foundation has raised more than seven million dollars for local paediatric services.
