Flights in and out of YQG jumped by 5,600 last year compared to 2016
An increase in the number of flights taking-off and landing at Windsor Airport.
Statistics Canada has released the figures on take-offs and landings for 2017 and found 39,000 flights moved in and out of Windsor Airport.
That's an increase of over 5,600 flights compared to the 33,339 movements recorded in 2016.
It's also an increase of over 10,000 compared to just five years ago.
Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport posted the most last year with 467,103 movements in 2017.
