Plenty of positive comments at the latest Windsor ward meeting.
Ward 2 residents had a chance last night to raise concerns and questions.
Gary Langille from Askin Ave. is among those who turned out. "Something I didn't bring up but other people did a lot of what happens is what we find is bylaws, bylaws aren't being enforced. Maybe they're too difficult sometimes, they should be changed and more enforceable.
But overall, the ward is "headed in the right direction" according to Langille. "There seems to be a more positive attitude around the different parts of the ward and people are moving on to neighbourhood issues and walk-able neighbourhoods and that's kind of the theme of what other people around different parts of the city are trying to do too, promote walk-able urban neighbourhoods."
The next ward meeting will be in Ward 4.
That will be held Thursday, October 20th at 6:30pm at the Caboto Club.
