A sigh of relief from a Cottam family who's been hoping for a lifesaving bone marrow match for their 18-month-old son.
Nolan Trepanier is in need of a stem cell transplant for a rare form of aggressive blood cancer.
The Katelyn Bedard Bone Marrow Association held two swabbing events in the area recently, but the organization says a match for Nolan did not come from those events and not much is known about the donor at this time.
Nolan and his family are expected to travel to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto within the next week or so to begin the process for the transplant.
The Trepanier family is expressing its gratitude for those who came out to get swabbed.
