An Essex man has pleaded guilty in a fatal motorcycle crash last summer that killed a Windsor couple.
Gerald Decoste, 54, pleaded guilty to two counts of exceeding the legal limit of blood-alcohol causing death.
In August 2017, Decoste ran a red light at Manning Rd. and County Rd. 46 in Lakeshore striking a motorcycle.
The two people on the bike, 66-year-old Larry and Patricia Best, were pronounced dead at the scene.
DeCoste was arrested at the scene and was found to have almost twice the legal limit of blood-alcohol in his system.
Charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death were withdrawn.
A sentencing hearing takes place in August.
