A Windsor resident is sounding the alarm.
Heather Tremblay lives in the area of Tuscarora and Langlois near the downtown core and says on Tuesday she found 85 syringe needles along the alley near her property.
She says her neighbour called 311 but the city did not respond until Wednesday morning.
Tremblay says she gathered the needles and placed them in her home until the city picked them up.
She tells AM800 news, how she felt when she saw the needles.
"Where were these people and why did they do this," says Tremblay. "We have a lot of little kids in the neighbourhood and this isn't the thing to be doing."

She adds she wants to keep the neighbourhood safe.
"It's just very upsetting and it does not make the neighbourhood look good either," says Tremblay.
Tremblay has lived in the area for 13 years.
