The PJHLs regular season started last night with Essex dropping Amherstburg 63
The Essex 73's opened the regular season at home last night and skated to a 6-3 win over the Amherstburg Admirals.
Bryce Ryan's goal at 11:27 game the 73's the lead as they were up 1-0 after a period, and 3-1 after two.
Dawson Winchester paced the Essex attack with a pair of second period goals, while Michael Vieira, Quinn Fazekas, and Curtis Jackson added the others.
Cory Burns, Ty Moss, and Caleb Paquette scored for the Admirals.
Jax D'hondt made 30 saves to earn the win.
