Essex beat Wallaceburg on the road to take over Stobbs Division lead
The Essex 73's ran their winning streak to seven games with a 4-1 road win in Wallaceburg Wednesday night and along the way took over first-place in the Provincial Junior Hockey League's Stobbs Division.
Anthony Cristofaro scored two goals for the 73's, while Michael Vieira had a goal and an assist.
Tyler Ryan made 17 saves to pick up the win.
The 73's have moved one point up on Blenheim for top spot in the division.
