Scott Miller unexpectedly resigned as the club's general manager citing personal reasons for his decision.
Miller started as an executive member and took over as the team's general manager in the 2011-12 season. His first point of business was hiring a head coach, and Gil Langlois was his guy
In six seasons as the 73's general manager, Essex has seen much success. They have won six league championships, been to the All-Ontario finals three times and have won the Schmalz Cup as Junior C provincial champs once, in 2015.
The 73's thank Miller for his years of dedicated service as the team's general manager, and wish him much success moving forward.
Essex has confirmed that head coach Cam Crowder, and assistant coach Steve Caldwell, will assume the duties of general manager for the 2017-18 season.
