The Essex 73's are back on the ice tonight after a two-week break.
The team is home against Petrolia.
Head Coach, Cam Crowder says coming off Christmas break, the team will be trying to re-establish its game.
"We've had a couple good practices over the break so that helps too, but it's just a matter of easing yourself back into the game and making sure you're not trying to do too much when you haven't played a game in two weeks. So that's kind of our focus today," says Crowder.
Crowder adds, "Petrolia themselves, they have one of the best players in the league, Kole Keating, so we need to make sure that we're taking care of him and not giving him an easy route to the net."
Essex can move into first place with a win tonight, as they currently sit second in the division tied with Lakeshore, one point back of first place Amherstburg.
