The 73's dropped a 4-3 game on home ice last night to the Dorchester Dolphins and now Essex leads that Schmalz Cup quarter-final series 2-1.
Luke Gecse, William Stadder, and Michael Vieira scored the Essex goals.
The 73's ran into a sharp netminder in Riley Brown who made 40 saves helping the Dolphins get back in the series.
Game four is set for Wednesday night back in Dorchester.
