Michael Vieira leads Essex to an easy win over Petrolia
The Essex 73's are only a win away from sweeping their opening round playoff series after blasting Petrolia 8-2 Tuesday night.
The top-seeded 73's jumped out to a 3-0 lead mid-way through the first period, as they led 4-1 after one, and 6-1 after two periods.
Michael Vieira led the attack scoring three times, while Josh Pope-Ferguson, Quinn Fazekas, William Stadder, Matthew MacLeod and Adam Gaiarin add the other Essex goals.
Wil O'Leary Dilosa had both goals in a losing cause for the Flyers.
Game four goes Thursday night at 7:30pm at Glenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia.
