Essex ends twogame losing skid with 42 win in Wheatley
The Essex 73's put a stop to a two-game slide with a 4-2 win over the Sharks in Wheatley in the Provincial Junior Hockey League Monday night.
Riley Meyerink scored the game-winner and also added an assist.
David Cooke, William Stadder and Tyler Scott scored the other goals for Essex.
Tyler Ryan made 21 saves to pick up the win.
Essex is now 5-2-1 on the season and seven points back of Blenheim for first place in the Stobbs Division.
