The Essex 73's are back on the ice tonight.
They kick off their second round series in Dresden against the Kings.
Both teams are coming off first round sweeps and have had a week off.
73's Head Coach Cam Crowder believes the series will be a hard fought battle.
"I think for us it's two things," says Crowder. "We got to be good on special teams and they have a great goaltender over there so we need to make sure we're getting some traffic in his face and making things difficult for him."
Crowder says the teams are evenly matched.
"Every game seemed to be tight," says Crowder. "They have a good team on that side and it's going to be a battle for us for sure."
Crowder says the long lay off could impact both teams.
"I think sometimes it can be a positive where it helps you to get a little more healthy but the layoff can be distracted at times and hopefully for our guys it's a positive and not a negative," says Crowder.
Puck drop is set for 8:30pm.
Game 2 is set for Tuesday night in Essex.
