The Provincial Hockey League playoffs continue this evening in Essex.
The third ranked 73's take on the sixth ranked Petrolia Flyers in round one of the Stobbs Division playoffs.
The two teams met five times during the regular season with Essex winning four of those games.
73's defenceman Anthony Cristofaro says the 73's need to keep a close eye on Flyers top forward Kole Keating.
"He's an incredible player," says Cristofaro. "He can hit, score, he can fight, he does it all. So we got to be aware of that and their powerplay. They have the second best powerplay all year so they can put the puck in the net. We got to have a defensive mind set game and be ready for that."
73's defenceman Anthony Cristofaro says the 73's need to shut down Kole Keating, one of the league's best players.
Puck drop at the Essex Centre Sports Complex is set for 7pm tonight.
Game two will take place in Petrolia on Thursday.
