Organizers are calling the 57th annual Bantam-Midget Tournament a success.
The tournament recently wrapped up at the WFCU Centre and featured 26 teams made of children between the ages of 13 and 16.
The teams this year came from Ontario, Michigan, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
President of Riverside Minor Hockey, Anne Marie Schofield, says the tournament never disappoints.
She says the success is due to the volunteers.
"This is just awesome and the families that have put in the volunteer time and our own Board of Directors of course who put in their own time, it just runs smoothly because of that."
Schofield says the tournament has become a tradition for the area.
"We get teams that come back because it is well run. They know things are going to be done right. It is just something that our life members put in place 57-years ago. We are not reinventing any wheels here. We are keeping their traditions going and it works."
The Windsor Jr. Spitfires won the Bantam Major division while the team from the Czech Republic won the Bantam Minor division.
