The annual event is held by the Windsor Police Service for 40 local grade 6 students from the Values, Influences and Peers (VIP) school program.
Windsor Police Service Constable, Bianca Jackson says every child deserves a camp experience.

"You get to meet kids your own age from different schools that you normally would not have met and you get to experience things with us as police officers, they get to see us in regular clothes having a fun time," says Jackson.
Upon returning from camp, all the kids were surprised with a brand new bike, lock and helmet. Each kid also received a new back pack filled with school supplies.
