It's a sell-out for a popular spring event.
The Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland's 33rd annual Lobster Fest has officially sold out.
Event chair Sue Desjarlais says roughly 425 people will enjoy more than 1600 pounds of fresh Canadian east-coast lobster.
She says the event often sells out but not always.
"We had to shut down ticket sales as of last Friday, the 19th we reached our max and that pleases me," says Desjarlais. "It was getting a little dicey whether we were going to get there or not but we managed to and I'm looking forward to having a whole lot of people come in and enjoy some lobster and other food and some good entertainment."
She says the lobsters arrive later this week.
"It's flown in on Thursday and we'll be stemming it on Friday so it will be fresh served which is the best way to have it."
Along with the lobster, chicken, roasted potatoes and salad will also be served. The event takes place this Friday at the Ciociaro Club. Doors open at 6pm. Money raised will support local and international rotary projects.
