U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized nearly US$30,000 in undeclared money and marijuana products at a Windsor-Detroit border crossing.
CBP officials say the items were seized from a traveller arriving from Canada at the Ambassador Bridge on Feb. 20.
The man, a U.S. citizen, was accessed a $500 penalty.
Border officials are reminding travellers to declare all currency and leave the drugs at home.
