One month into a no front yard parking by-law in the City of Windsor and 242 warnings have been issued.
Supervisor of Compliance and Enforcement Bill Kralovensky says officers have gone from the west end to the east end twice and of all the warnings issued, 4 tickets were handed out.
"I had quite a few inquiries back to the office as to why we are doing this and what the person can do," says Kralovensky.
He warns the warning period is over and anyone who parks on a front yard now will automatically get a ticket.
The bylaw was created to help reduce neighbourhood blight.
The ticket costs owners $25.
