Environment Canada is tracking a nasty snow storm.
Windsor-Essex is looking at up to 20cm of snowfall starting Friday afternoon, which should fall within a 24-hour period.
Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says we're looking at snow falling continuously throughout the day.
"Sometime Friday during the day, it's hard to put a timeline on it - it's still 48-hours away. Continue through maybe mid-day Saturday, so maybe 24-hours of snow, and I think maybe 15cm is a good first guess, and 20 is not impossible," he says.
Kimbell says that will be followed by a drop in temperatures once again on Sunday.
"The snow would have been over by then, and we will just have cold temperatures by then. Nothing like the brutal, brutal cold like we had last weekend, with a high of minus 9. Definitely cold and a bit below normal."
Kimbell also warns of blowing snow from the north, making for a rough commute Friday night into Saturday morning.
